TIME FOR A RHYME

MARSWORTH FLOWER FESTIVAL 2019

BANK HOLIDAY WEEKEND: SATURDAY 24TH – MONDAY 26TH AUGUST

The theme for this years festival is TIME FOR A RHYME with the myriad of arrangements being inspired by various rhymes or poems, some of the titles will include favourite nursery rhymes, adages, nonsense poems or the more classic poems, but all must include a rhyme.  The festival promises to be a diverse mixture of arrangements appealing to all ages.  As always, the choice of theme will hopefully inspire local flower arrangers to come up with some stunning floral displays and we estimate in excess of 20 displays. Suggested titles include: Hickory Dickory Dock,  Mary Had A Little Lamb,   Red Sky At Night, Hey Diddle Diddle, A Stitch In Time , Oranges and Lemons .  The Owl and the Pussy Cat.  The potential is indeed endless.

The festival will once again be a village event and take place over the August Bank Holiday weekend  Saturday 24th 10am - 6pm  Sunday 25th 11.30am -6pm and Monday 26th August 10am - 5pm.

Set up day will be Thursday 23rd August as in previous years.
